KTJ Board of Trustees Member Mustamir Mohamad Honoured with Datoship

Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ) is proud to announce that Mustamir bin Mohamad, a valued member of its Board of Trustees and Managing Director of Sime Darby’s UMW Division, has been awarded the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan, which carries the distinguished title of Dato’.
The honour was conferred during the celebration of the 77th birthday of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir on Tuesday, 14th January 2025, in recognition of Dato’ Mustamir's significant contributions to the state of Negeri Sembilan.
Dato’ Mustamir's contributions have been instrumental in various capacities, particularly through his leadership and dedication as a member of KTJ’s Board of Trustees. His commitment has greatly supported the school's ongoing development and success. Additionally, his role in the Malaysia Vision Valley project, led by Sime Darby Property, further underscores his dedication to driving progress and innovation within the state.
YAM Tunku Naquiyuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar expressed his admiration, stating:
“As Chairman of KTJ’s Board of Trustees, I am delighted to hear of the award of Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan to Mustamir bin Mohamad. Dato’ Mustamir has been an integral part of our Board for many years, and has played a key role in KTJ’s growth and prosperity, which has been recognised by a number of prestigious awards.”
