KTJ pays tribute to YMM Tunku Ampuan Najihah
Primary House Captains, the Student Council, Head Prefects, Support Staff and the Senior Leadership Team recently paid tribute to the incredible life of the late YMM Tunku Ampuan Najihah binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin. Students and staff placed flowers beneath YMM Tunku Ampuan's portrait, which is featured in the Tuanku Ja'afar Auditorium.
KTJ Principal, Dr Glenn Moodie, said: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of YMM Tunku Ampuan Tunku Najihah, consort of the late Tuanku Ja’afar and mother of our three Founding Trustees, YAM Tunku Naquiyuddin, YAM Tunku Imran and YAM Tunku Dara. Whilst I did not have the opportunity to meet YMM Tunku Ampuan Najihah, I know that she was a frequent visitor to KTJ in the early days and she has left an indelible impact upon our School and the wider community."
Dr Glenn and other senior members of staff paid their respects to the late YMM Tunku Ampuan Najihah at the Seri Menanti Palace last week, where they expressed their condolences on behalf of the School.
