Cross Country 2020

"On Thursday, we held our annual Primary School Cross Country. We were fortunate to have perfect running conditions and the children relished the opportunity to show off the running skills, tactics and technique that they have been learning about in recent PE lessons. With fewer supporters at the race this year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the children showed more determination and resilience than ever to complete the challenging course. The sportsmanship on show was outstanding and it was lovely to see so many children running with a smile on their face - even when going up the Primary hill! The standard of running was incredibly high and there were some fantastic results all through the year groups. Every student should be extra proud of their efforts and we hope that many of them have been inspired to keep up their training." - Mr Kris Davis, Head of Primary
