KTJ Principal, Dr. Glenn Moodie, praised the students and staff:
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Sixth Form students on their exceptional A Level results. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated teachers, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in our students' success.”
Beyond their stellar A Level results, KTJ Sixth Form students have secured offers from leading universities around the globe, with a particularly strong showing at prestigious institutions in London. This year, 26 KTJ students received an offer to Imperial College London, ranked 6th in the QS World University Rankings 2024.
A remarkable quarter of KTJ Sixth Form students will be attending one of the top 10 universities globally in 2024 (according to the QS World University Rankings 2024). Furthermore, 37% will be pursuing their studies at Berkeley, Ivy League institutions, Oxbridge, LSE, UCL and UCLA.

Emma Davidson, Head of KTJ Sixth Form, shared her pride in the students' accomplishments: “We are incredibly proud of our students who have worked tirelessly to secure places at some of the world’s top universities. This year, KTJ has secured more offers to Oxbridge than any other school in Malaysia. In the US, our students will continue their studies at Berkeley, Columbia, Cornell, and UPenn. Additionally, students have been accepted into esteemed institutions such as Hong Kong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Melbourne, and Toronto.”
“This achievement is especially remarkable given the intense competition for a limited number of places, particularly in courses that are popular among KTJ students, such as Medicine, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, and Law. I would also like to express my gratitude to the KTJ Sixth Form Team, teachers, and boarding staff for their tireless efforts in supporting our students through the university application process and helping them realise their full potential.”
At the heart of KTJ’s A Level programme is the super-curriculum, a dynamic component that enriches students’ academic journeys. Through weekly enrichment talks, academic events, and university seminars, KTJ encourages students to question, explore, and engage with ideas beyond their A Level subjects. By broadening their exposure to a variety of enrichment activities outside the classroom, students not only develop critical skills but also discover new passions on their personal journeys of academic exploration.
KTJ’s commitment to excellence continues to be recognised on the global stage. In both 2021 and 2023, KTJ was honoured as the International School of the Year by the Boarding Schools Association (BSA). Additionally, in 2023, KTJ was ranked 55th in the HSBC Hurun Education Global High Schools list, the only Malaysian school to be featured, and proudly ranked 3rd among schools outside the UK and the US.
