Rhodes Scholarship
Recently, two University of Pennsylvania seniors were awarded prestigious Rhodes scholarship for graduate study at University of Oxford. One of them is our alumni, Adnan Zikri Ja’afar who graduated from KTJ in 2014. He is currently enrolled in Hunstman Program in International Studies in Business while majoring in finance, statistics and international studies with a minor in Mathematics, Economics and Philosophy. At oxford, Adnan will be pursuing a master’s degree in evidence-based social intervention and policy evaluation, along with master’s in financial economics.
Lecture by Gordon Brown
Here's a picture of our former student, Torrance Chen, who is studying at Oxford now. Torrance completed his A level in June this year. Torrance attended a lecture by Gordon Brown, the former Prime Minister of united Kingdom, recently - the inaugural Harold Wilson Lecture on 'Purpose in Politics: Hope for the 21st Century'.
