KTJ Student’s Kind Act
Our Form 1 student, Sean Tee helped a stranger during a journey recently and this stranger wrote about it on FB. The story is gaining momentum in circulation including a cover story in New Straits Times Newspaper.
Sean Tee was on his way back from Phuket International Airport to Kuala Lumpur when he saw Ady Sacol on a wheel chair due to a motorbike accident just hours before his flight. Sean insisted to buy him food and didn’t leave him when they had a boarding gate change. Instead, he painstakingly brought Ady’s 15 Kg backpack for almost 15 minutes’ walk distance and accompanied him on special vehicle used to transport disable passenger to aircraft. Upon arriving KLIA2, Sean assisted Ady with his backpack to walk from the tube until airport buggy arrived. He then decided to help Ady to reach immigration by pushing a cart with Ady sitting down on it as there was no wheelchair or buggy facility from 3rd floor. They parted ways due to different Immigration line for Foreign and Malaysian Passport, yet Sean waited for Ady at outside to help him to unload his luggage from carousel.
Ady thanked Sean by posting the following on his Facebook “Sean, remember the Philippine Money I gave you which I wrote something on it? I said the money doesnt have a value at all, it’s the message that is more precious and priceless. Keep it as a simple remembrance of our very short but memorable time together. This wasn't a coincidence. You are my angel and I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. You are a treasure to your family and friends. I will always remember you for the rest of my life”. He also added that he realized how important connections are and there is more to the world than just our own bubble while it makes the world smaller, far less scary and daunting.
