U13 FOBISIA

Our U13’s FOBISIA team are back in school after a busy few days competing in the Phuket FOBISIA Games. All KTJ students represented KTJ superbly both on and off the pitch/track/court/pool. We finished 2nd overall in athletics and 3rd overall in swimming.

In football the girls came 6th but played some exciting games against more experienced opposition.  In a testament to how much they improved they drew 0-0 in their last game against the team that eventually came second.  If the opposition had won they could have been champions so the match against us was a deciding fixture. Well done to Tiana who was given the Most Valuable Player award.

The boys came 5th in basketball and also had the opportunity to see what international competition is all about, in particular how tough it can be to win a round robin event. In their last match, KTJ played a team who eventually came second, however our boys managed to beat them stopping their overall victory. Well done to Yu Chen who was given the Most Valuable Player award.
