Current KTJ students and Alumni have been recognised for their academic achievements in the Cambridge and Pearson Outstanding Learner Awards. 

KTJ follows the Pearson International Curriculum for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, and the Cambridge International Curriculum for all other IGCSE and A Level subjects. Both exam boards are recognised and valued by the world's top-ranking universities. 

In the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards, the following students and Alumni were recognised: 

  • Top in Malaysia for International A Level English Literature: Sivagami Somaskandar (currently studying PPE at King's College London) 
  • Top in Malaysia for International A Level History: Areena Iman Azam (currently studying History at the University of Oxford) 
  • Top in Malaysia for International A Level History: Fong Seng Junn (currently studying Law at the University of Oxford) 
  • Top in Malaysia for International AS Level History: Yoon Yijun (Sixth Form student) 

In the Pearson Outstanding Learner Awards, the following students and Alumni were recognised: 

  • Highest Mark in the World for IGCSE Mathematics: Abigail Prarthana (Sixth Form student) 
  • Highest Mark in the World for International A Level Mathematics: Anrong Huang (currently studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge University)
  • Highest Mark in the World for International A Level Mathematics: Munir Zahrin Mustamir (currently studying Data Science at the University of Warwick)
