University of Edinburgh
On 18th September, Ms. Gurpreet Grewal from the veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh visited KTJ and made a presentation to sixth formers. The Veterinary School at Edinburgh is one of the top schools in the UK. Ms. Grewal provided information on entry requirements and on how to write a successful personal statement for veterinary medicine.
UCL
On 24th September 2014, Ms. Julie Rolls, International Recruitment Officer at UCL visited KTJ. UCL is the third most popular destination for KTJ sixth formers, following closely after LSE in second place and Imperial in first place.
American Universities
Kansas State University
On 17th September 2014, Ms. Caitlin Kelly, the International Student admissions Officer made a presentation to the L6 students interested in going to University in the U.S.A. She provided information on applying to US universities.
New York University
On the 25th September 2014, seventeen sixth formers went to ISKL to attend a presentation from Beau C Benson, from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Some of our sixth formers will be applying for a place at the Leonard N Stern School of Business this year. It is one of the oldest and most respected business schools in the country. NYU Stern prepares students for careers in accounting, economics, global business, finance, management, marketing and statistics.
