Secondary School Primary & Secondary School

We have recently opened a new 20,000 square foot building which is dedicated to music, art and technology subjects. The opening was officiated by Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Naquiyuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar who is the Head of Governors and Trustees of the school and the ceremony was graced by presence of Yang Maha Mulia Tunku Ampuan Tuanku Najihah binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin, Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Tan Sri Imran, Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Dara Tunku Tan Sri Naquiah, Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Nadzaruddin, and Dato’ Richard Small. The building has been named The Waterfront due to its scenic location overlooking the school lake and it is the latest in several projects to modernise and upgrade the facilities of the school.

Boasting 6 music rooms, a recording studio and dedicated rooms for art, graphic design, textiles, clay modelling, resistant materials and food technology; the Waterfront highlights KTJ’s commitment to the holistic development of its students. The new facilities in the art rooms will enable students to bring their creative ideas to life. The new resources, space and facilities for technology has allowed the school to introduce news skills such as textiles and further enhance existing areas of technology and design. Lessons in the new building will equip students with lifelong skills that will be useful regardless of whatever path they may choose.
