Our highly experienced teachers ensure KTJ students attain A Level results which far surpass the world average. In 2022, 41% of A Level entries were graded A* and 82% graded A*-B.

Holistic Education

Academic rigour is complemented by a dedicated Sixth Form ECA programme for Competitive University Applications, Medic Applications, STEM, Coding, Forensics and Law Applications. Students are also encouraged to participate in events such as the Oxbridge and KTJ Engineering Workshop, the Oxbridge and KTJ Law Moot and SEA Forensics and Debate to further boost their university applications.

KTJ Sixth Form students are also given the opportunity to take part in an annual outdoor residential trip organised by the Outward Bound Trust of Malaysia. Students experience a range of activities including camping, kayaking and jungle trekking. These activities help students to recognise their potential beyond self-imposed limits, and develop important skills such as resilience, self-confidence and teamwork. 

Student Support

The expert Sixth Form Team provide a comprehensive package of guidance and support which builds a pathway from school to their university of choice. KTJ's Sixth Form Team consists of the Head of Sixth Form, Emma Davidson, a dedicated and experienced group of teachers, a Higher Education and Careers Guidance Counsellor, as well as access to Sixth Form mentors, Student Support and the English as an additional language (EAL) department.

Since 1991, KTJ has led the way in British-style, holistic education in Malaysia. Founded by three members of the Negeri Sembilan Royal Family, the idea behind KTJ was based on their personal experiences of studying in top boarding schools in the UK. Learn more about KTJ's history here.
